We got together 10 friends from the town of Gometxa in 2003 and we decided to create a musical event in the field in which the good atmosphere, good music and the opportunity to open the doors of a stage to young groups but also to experienced bands stand out.
This is how Pikotako Jaialdia (Pikotako Festival) began.
At the end of 2018, the new record label Pikotako start to take root in the town of Gometxa in the province of Álava in northern Spain.
Everything starts between five friends since childhood, promoters and organizers of the Pikotako Jaialdia music festival. For more than fifteen years together with a passion for music, they decided to give a new twist to their project and in search of new goals, they created an international record label referred to the festival itself with the intention of encouraging the bands that participate and in this way to be able to make releases of their own productions or of the direct ones that are made in the annual event.
Pikotako becomes part of the experienced independent and international distributor Sokubu Music Group that already has the Kubu Music, Soleid and Transform Recordings labels.
AmpSuite, Fuga, Merlin, YourArmy … are some of the partners that will ensure that their launches are in all the digital stores of the world monetizing and protecting their contents.
Looking first quality music and without closing any particular musical genre, they take flight with all the knowledge and illusion that years of experience endorse them. Specialists in digital releases, will also make releases in vinyl format and some CD format runs mainly for promotion of events.
Apart from the own digital distribution services will also offer, among others, services of web page creation, legal advice and mastering.
